Situated off St Giles Park in Sandiacre, Sandiacre and Risley Garden Holders’ Association is a private allotment site providing individual garden plots for local tenants to rent. We currently have 11 full plots and 28 half plots.
Whether you are new to growing or an experienced gardener, the allotment offers a practical and welcoming space to grow vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers at your own pace. Plot holders benefit from being part of a friendly community of growers, with opportunities to share knowledge and learn from others.
Members also have access to gardening supplies through the allotment shed, as well as discounted bulk orders for seeds, potatoes, onion sets, and other seasonal items.
As well as providing an affordable way to grow fresh produce, the allotments offer the wellbeing benefits that come from spending time outdoors and connecting with nature.
